Jody and Brooklyn radiate kindness and gratitude. Photographing their big day was filled with joy and celebration. It was a hard decision to postpone from 2020, but it absolutely was worth the wait.
Last week I got to reconnect with familiar faces during a maternity shoot in Denver. I photographed Sarah and Ricky’s wedding two years ago at The Sanctuary. I spent a little time catching up and then we started the shoot. So much happens in two years time. Sarah is due in two weeks and expecting a baby girl. I can’t wait to go back and meet her for our newborn portrait session. I got a kick out of the dog trying to be in the portraits. As soon as Sarah sat down the dog sprung up into position. I think the dog is going to miss being number one. 😉
Once a year I round up the troops for our annual “family” portrait. This past year was no exception. Well maybe, except for the fact I forgot to post the photos on the blog! At last here are my two favorite images from our family portrait session. My mentor and friend Tom Moore photographed us. This has been an ongoing tradition. It’s fun to look back at Dzifa and I (of course the dogs too) to see how much we have changed.
