I love newborn babies and can’t deny that photographing newborn twins is a personal favorite of mine.  Lisa and Steve hired me to photograph their wedding five years ago and called me again for their twins Denver newborn photography session.  They officially grew their family times two this summer.  Little Lucy and Luke came into the world six weeks early.  I could relate to Lisa and Steve’s experience of having preemie babies in the NICU.  Life as a new parent comes with its own challenges, needless to say adding hospital visits and oxygen tanks to the mix is even harder.  Both the parents were so laid back as it took us about three hours to capture these shots.  Patience is the key when we work with newborn babies and it pays off.  We had to work with getting one to sleep and then getting the other to sleep and of course keeping them asleep!  Luke was still on oxygen during our newborn session with him.  We worked around his oxygen, taking it on and off for photos.  It reminded me of photographing both my boys when they were on oxygen.  I already ordered the photograph of them in the bucket for the studio, I can’t wait to hang it up.
