Mini Session Terms and Conditions
Session Policies and Requests
- Mini session shoot times are 20 minutes maximum. We request that clients arrive 5-10 minutes early as not to be late for the shoot. Van Buren Photography is not responsible for missed sessions and will not be able to extend the session if clients are late.
- Mini sessions are not inclusive of newborns or groups over five people (No Exceptions). Please do not bring anyone “extra” to be in photographs outside your immediate family. Mini Sessions are too quick for large groups or big families (5 or more children) and clients should schedule a regular session for these situations. Please discuss any special circumstances with Van Buren Photography prior to booking so we can choose the perfect session for you!
- Use of other cameras, including cell phones are not permitted during your session time. It can be confusing for little ones to know which camera to be looking at.
Location and Fees
- Mini sessions are held on specific days on a specific location of Van Buren Photography’s choice. These vary throughout the year.
- Our mini session sitting fee is $495 for 20 minutes (sessions are scheduled back to back), one fall setting as a backdrop, custom editing, and processing of your photographs resulting in a viewing gallery of 10-20 finished images. A small digital collection of 5 digital images is included. This is perfect if you want a quick family session for the holidays. Additional digital files are available to add on.
- Any additional images will be available for you to add on from your online gallery. Additional digital collections + prints purchased separately for full price list click HERE.
- Payment is due in full at the time of booking to reserve your session. Choice of time slot is given to clients on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not hold your preferred time spot until we receive payment.
Rescheduling/Cancellation
- If a client can not make their date/time for the session after they book and payment is received, Van Buren Photography will do their best to fill in the time slot. If the time spot is able to be filled, refund to the client is up to the discretion of Van Buren Photography. No refund will be given if a canceled time spot is unable to be filled for any reason.
- If a mini session needs to be rescheduled due to severe weather, that is up to Van Buren Photography. If the weather is questionable check your email in the morning or call 303-523-2863. If you cannot make the rescheduled date, Van Buren Photography will refund the cost of the session fee.
Liability
- The client is aware that the quality of the end result of the digital files delivered is not under the control of the photographer and frees the Van Buren Photography from any liability for any claims whatsoever for the final print result if not printed through Van Buren Photography. We strongly recommend printing at professional labs for best results.
- Your session must be before December 3rd and ordered by December 6th to get your images back for in time for the Christmas holiday.
